Outfitters is opening its doors for families in need to begin their back 2 school shopping! The boutique style shopping experience is positive, impactful and most of all FUN!

About Outfitters, INC

Outfitters is a 501c3 non-profit organization located in Pendleton, Indiana and serves all of Madison County.

Their vision is to ensure that children in their own community have clothing that fits and provide them with a positive self-image. How wonderful is that?

All kids on the free lunch program in Madison County receive a voucher to shop at their boutique. In addition, they accept referrals from town trustees, school personnel, local churches, Alternatives, INC and Dove Harbor to be sure to reach all those in need.

Back 2 School Shopping at Outfitters

For this season, Back 2 School Shopping is offered from July 19th to September 8th, 2021.

It’s a pretty simple process. With the vouchers received, kids shop twice a year for a weeks worth of clothing that includes:

• 7 Bottoms
• 7 Tops
• 7 pairs of socks
• 7 underwear necessities
• Shoes
• Jacket

ABSOLUTELY FREE!

All shopping trips are by appointment to ensure the privacy of kids and families.

You simply go to the Outfitters website and click on the image to sign-up for a shopping appointment!

How You can Help!

Being a non-profit, Outfitters relies on fundraisers and donations to operate. They are always in need and here’s a few ways you can help with their noble mission.

Donate Clothing

• Donating new and gently used, quality, in-style clothing is a wonderful way you can help. 75% of their clothing is donated through individuals in the community.
• They do not accept clothes with stains or that show excessive wear. Nor do they accept used socks or under garments.

Volunteering

• Outfitters is always in need of your time, enthusiasm and talents! Volunteers help sort, wash, dry, fold and hang clothes for the boutique. Without volunteers, they would not be able to meet the needs for the kids!

Giving

• Through donations of money and sponsorships of their fundraising events, Outfitters is able to continue clothing the kids. Events include:
  • Block Party
  • Gala
  • Socktober
  • PHHS Boys and Girls Basketball Games
  • Time for a Change
